Part of the international Greendrinks network, Seattle Greendrinks is a completely volunteer-run non-profit organization. The organization exists as a platform for connecting Seattle's environmental community, with our main event a monthly informal social networking gathering. All are welcome to join us the second Tuesday of every month, starting around 5:30pm. The goal of our group is pretty simple: good times shared among people working in, or interested in, environmental and sustainability issues.

Seattle Greendrinks was founded and is run by Gabriel Scheer. Gabriel is immensely proud of how Seattle Greendrinks has risen to provide a center for Seattle's environmental community, and credits the success of the event to the power and breadth of Seattle's environmental community. Outside of Seattle Greendrinks, Gabriel recently left his position as interim General Manager for Southern California at Zipcar, is a co-founder and active member of Sustainable Capitol Hill, and works on various other side projects. He is excited, after Greendrinks 5, to explore new opportunities.

Seattle Greendrinks' volunteer board currently includes Jill Amsberry, Larry Dohrs, Roy King III, Gabriel Scheer, and Kevin Traywick.
