Why Design, Build and Buy Green Buildings?

Given the current state of the U.S. economy with a 9.7 % unemployment rate in January, it is uncertain when the recession will end. Americans have cut back, businesses have scaled down production and the once rapid growth of the U.S. economy has stumbled. International Day of Climate Action is TOMORROW

Tomorrow in West Seattle people are gearing up to help combat climate change by building an edible garden that will supply the public and a food bank with fresh vegetables at the C & P coffee house. CoolMom, C&P Coffee House, Urban Land Army and Sustainable West Seattle are all banding together to create 4 large (3x6 feet) raised garden beds.
