I'm starting a company in the energy efficiency space. The core competence of the company will be in technology, and its mission is the following:

· Enable every building owner in America to upgrade their property to be more energy efficient by partnering with municipalities to provide technology to simplify the upgrade process and capital for loans.

This business will be focused on enabling the energy efficiency transaction, rather than doing the upgrade work to buildings. I’ve met and received positive feedback from investors, including angels here in Silicon Valley and VC firms like Sequoia, and am in the process of lining up an alpha customer who may even contribute some funds for development. I now am looking for a star CTO who shares my passion for technology, for building great businesses (this one has the potential to be substantial), and for working on business that has fighting climate change as a central part of its mission.
