Volunteer for ECOSS!

Hi ECOSS volunteers and potential volunteers:

Because of our big annual event, October is a busy month around here. We have a number of volunteer opportunities between October 1st and October 29th that will (hopefully!) be fun for you and really help us out. If you have volunteered with us before, you know that we always try to show our volunteers a good time, offer a lot of appreciation, and utilize your time wisely.

Here is what we have goin' on:

October 1st from 3-7pm: Mailing Party and Phone Banking (8201 10th Ave S- the ECOSS offices in South Park) - Put together invitations for mailing. This includes stuffing envelopes and affixing labels. Call previous years' auction donors who haven't donated this year. Script provided. Food and beverages provided.

October 16th from 3-5: Phone Banking (8201 10th Ave S- the ECOSS offices in South Park) - Call donors and members and invite them to the event. Script provided. Food and beverages provided.

October 29th - opportunities from 10am until 10pm (8201 10th Ave S- the ECOSS offices in South Park and/or Herban Feast): Staff our Event! - Help us make our event a success and keep it running smoothly. All volunteer duties needed for that day are listed and described in the attachment. If you sign up to volunteer at the event, please try to make our volunteer training on October 23rd from 6-8 where we will do a run through of the evening. Food and beverages provided.

Virtual Opportunity (between now and October 23rd): Update our PowerPoint! We will have a PowerPoint about ECOSS looping on a screen throughout most of the evening. Our current presentation needs to be updated with our new photos and information. You will be provided with everything you need. Please have a high level of proficiency with PowerPoint if you would like to volunteer for this task.
