Join us with special guest Constance McMillen to celebrate 75 years of protecting civil liberties, including the freedom to love whomever you choose. With free cupcakes, prom photos, and DRY Soda. Free and open to the public.
Street Treats and Where Ya At (Creole Soul Food) mobile food trucks will be nearby.
As an addition to traditional Park(ing) Day parks, where participants create temporary parks in parking spaces, we will be transforming this once vibrant block, illegal parking lot, and now vacant space into a collection of small parks for the day. The event was approved by the owners of the space and we also received a smART ventures grant from the Seattle Arts Commission to help make the event a reality.
