We'd like to invite you to a free Community Energy Efficiency Open House and BBQ brought to you by SustainableWorks, Community Power Works, Green Canopy Homes, and the Climate Co-op. This event will take place on June 23rd at 1317 Dawson St in Southeast Seattle. Members of the community are welcome to tour a recently green renovated home, view energy efficiency upgrades, and learn how they can reduce their carbon footprint and make their home more energy efficient.

Our panelists will be "World’s First & Only Stand-Up Economist", Yoram Bauman, faculty UW Program on the Environment and fresh from organizing and speaking at the Pacific Northwest Carbon Pricing Conference and Hania Younis of Law Firm Stoel Rives in providing us with laws and current legislation.

Join us for a community meeting on Wednesday, Aug 25th, 6:00PM to share your ideas on how the City of Seattle can collaborate with neighborhoods to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030. Input from this meeting will be included in the neighborhoods sector report, to be presented to City Council on September 14th.
