Join the Seattle Aquarium Society and the National Wildlife Federation for a special presentation with Larry Schweiger, President & CEO of the National Wildlife Federation. Schewiger will be presenting his book, "Last Chance: Preserving Life on Earth" where he breaks down the science behind global climate change and takes us from Lake Erie to the icebergs of Greenland, and from Congress to America's classrooms and farmlands. Reception followed by a brief dive show in the Aquarium's Impressive Window on Washington Waters and author presentation.

SAM has partnered with the University of Washington's College of the Environment and Program on Climate Change to create a visual representation of sea level rise on the Olympic Sculpture Park's Z-path and pocket beach. Based on scientific models, the display demonstrates the impact of climate change on future shorelines.

Join us on Saturday, October 10 at 2pm in the PACCAR Pavilion as students and staff from the University of Washington's Program on Climate Change lead a special walk focused on the display.
