This month we are very excited to have an opportunity to take a closer look at Seattle’s first geothermal community. The Shilshole Pointe project by JRJ Development at it’s completion, will be a collection of seven Built Green 4-Star homes in the Sunset Hill neighborhood of Ballard. Aside from the Geothermal system, other various features include 50 year metal roofs, super insulated walls and ceiling, Energy Star appliances, low VOC finishes, water conserving fixtures, rain barrels, drought tolerant plantings, and more. 5 of the 7 homes are in varying stages of completion.
This is an approved continuing clock hour class for Real Estate Agents.
Tour the new Martha Rose Construction community and see firsthand how low impact development and green building are impacting our region.

On Saturday, July 11th we will at last have an opportunity to tour Columbia City Green; the latest project from Case Design and Project Management. As you may be aware GreenDwellingSeattle has been following the construction of these two homes from their foundation to their finishes and are very much looking forward to touring them as part of our monthly green home tours. We will meet at ecoHAUS in Seattle's SODO district, get an introduction to many green building materials, have some lunch, and then travel to the homes where we will have a guided tour by architect Tony Case.
