Celebrating its 3rd year, Seattle Green Festival is an energetic weekend of eco-innovations and hands-on demonstrations focusing on putting green into daily routines. Held June 5 – 6, at the Washington State Convention Center, the festival will feature 175 speakers, 300 “screened for green” businesses, workshops, eco-fashion show, and great kids’ activities.

The Puget Sound local section of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is holding its November monthly meeting at the Seattle Aquarium. The panel presentation will be given by the Seattle Aquarium, Seattle City Light, PSE and A&R Solar.
A social hour begins at 6 pm, a tour of the solar hot water system begins at 6:30 pm, dinner (buffet style with plenty of vegetarian fare!) begins at 7 pm and the presentation starts at 8 pm.
Come enjoy a night of wine and cheese at the Stomani Cellars Winery hosted by Puget Sound's American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Young Professionals' Group. Presenting their award winning design of a "living building" (http://www.weberthompson.com/eco-laboratory.html) are two young professionals from the Seattle-based architecture firm of Weber Thompson. Their Eco-Lab design incorporates facets from many disciplines to produce a truly remarkable sustainable building.
Chaco Canyon Organic Cafe is hosting the November U-District Neighborhood GreenDrinks event! You may recognize us as the catering sponsor of GreenDrinks during the rest of the year. Now we have the opportunity to serve you appetizers for GreenDrinks in our space!
We'll close the cafe down at 4pm for normal business, and reopen at 5:30pm for this fun, community-building event! As with any GreenDrinks event, we will serve free appetizers all night (or until they run out!), and have our beer, wine and saketinis available for purchase.
