Urgent: Tell King County to Plan for a Better Future
-------------------------------------------------------------
In King County, we love our Puget Sound, local farms, clean rivers and lakes, snow-capped peaks.

That's why we support smart growth policies and hold local governments accountable to the Growth Management Act.

So when it comes to setting the countywide framework for county and city smart growth plans and regulations, King County needs to go beyond the past by setting a strong foundation for the future.

Join Kimberly Leeper of Mariposa Naturescapes and Heather Swift of Cohabitats to learn how to naturescape - design and install a wildlife-friendly, native and edible plant garden. Once installed, naturescapes require less maintenance than many yards and conventional gardens. They also keep invasive species out of our city, and of course, help native wildlife thrive in a healthy habitat.
