Join 300+ of our supporters, parents, teachers, and professional leaders who believe strongly in the potential of youth leadership and global cooperation by supporting our 2010 Gala Auction "Fiesta de Guatemala". Your support will give Global Visionaries' the opportunity to expand local and international programs and affect the lives of 230 children and future leaders.

For this year's auction, we want to raise $100,000 to reach these goals:

1. Provide scholarships to 35 low-income, Seattle-area students to participate in Global Visionaries' leadership program and service trip.

The Community Empowerment Network invites you to attend its third annual fundraiser, “One Night Brazil,” on Saturday, September 26th 2009. Advocates of sustainable development, environmental preservation and poverty eradication will passionately join together raising money and increasing opportunities for the impoverished communities of the Brazilian Amazon. Through a night of traditional Brazilian music, dance, food and drink, you can celebrate with ease while making a positive impact on those living in poverty.

Friday night, the Fair features a special Kick-Off event. The keynote speaker is Chris Jordon, the Seattle-based internationally acclaimed photographic artist whose work explores the detritus of American mass culture. Live and silent auction proceeds will go to offset costs of SolarFest and will benefit Shoreline Solar Project.
