Our City Council needs us next Tuesday, July 8 at 7pm at the Council Chambers, 600 4th Ave, to lend our support to legislation that would ban styrofoam and create "green fees" for disposable bags.

Opponents to this legislation are speaking loudly. As a proponent of the ban and fee, I want to make sure I'm speaking loudly, too. So I will, at next week's public comment session.

Of course, you'll want to attend Greendrinks - but consider leaving early (by 6 or 6:30) to attend this important event. Details below in a cut/pasted email from Richard Conlin.

Thanks bunches!
Jessie Alan
