Workshop: Create a Personalized Notebook/Sketchbook

This simple, yet fun and educational workshop is ideal for kids age 8-12. Learn how to craft a one-of-a-kind notebook using salvaged vinyl signage material and scrap paper. Notebooks will be stitched together by sewing machine, though previous sewing skills are not necessary as the instructor will give assistance. Books will be personalized and decorated using various scrap materials we will provide.

Class Cost: $10 (materials, tools, and snacks provided)

About the Instructor: Carina Manz, proprietor of The Green Chair Project, has many years of crafting under her belt. She has extensive experience working with fabrics, papers, paints, and various found objects. This workshop is her first in a series that is focused educating kids about the importance of salvaging and reusing materials.
