Free Workshop: How to Build a Compost Bin
Sun, March 28th
1-3pm at Second Use
About the Workshop
It’s that wonderful time of year when we start browsing through seed catalogs, mapping out our garden, and preparing for the Spring bounty. One of the easiest ways to build a healthy and green backyard garden is to build your own soil. Learn how to build a simple compost bin out of salvaged materials, including some that you may have already have in your basement or garage. This bin design allows for easy access so you can add material, turn your compost and save your back.....No construction or garden experience required.
About the Instructor
Jason Hansen is a former farmer and a local general contractor. He currently manages a two acre organic farm in Redmond. He has been a 2nd Use supporter and customer for over 12 years.
