Part of “Salvage Sundays”:
Join us on the 4th Sunday of each month for live music, sales, and workshops. In May, Marc Mollan will provide live music from 11-1pm and all windows will be 15% off from 11-3pm.

About the Workshop
Installing a window can be an intimidating process, for both homeowners and contractors. You need to know what you’re looking for, how to prepare for and undertake installation, and how to determine your energy efficiency needs. This workshop will provide step-by-step instructions to help you shop for and install wood and vinyl windows. The discussion will address how to:

• Determine and prepare the rough opening
• Connect the window to the existing weather barrier system
• Decide when to use salvaged windows versus new windows
• and Manage other installation needs such as insulation, weatherproofing, and trimming out

Please note that this workshop will not cover vintage window installation.
Carl Lind, a local contractor and loyal Second Use supporter, will be leading the workshop.

You must RSVP for this workshop - Space is limited
