Illuminating the Way Forward - ECOSS' 17th Annual Dinner

I know it's the time of year where the nonprofit donation requests start rolling in, but this really is an event where you get what you pay for AND it goes to a good cause: helping ECOSS expand our impressive roster of programs that help support the environment and the community.

Our theme this year is Illuminating the Way Forward, and it is our seventeenth annual event. We’re continuing lots of the traditions that make this event a must-attend for many of our supporters: the best local and organic catering from Herban Feast at their beautiful space in SoDo, a host-bar featuring local wine from Snoqualmie and beer from Georgetown Brewing Company, auction items that include a trip to South Africa, cruises, handcrafted jewelry and art from our neighbors, and a short program so we can focus on the party!

We have a lot to celebrate this year with the overwhelming success of the Powerful Neighborhoods Project and Emery Bayley’s ten years of service at ECOSS as our Brownfields Manager. Programs like these serve low-income folks and businesses that need free, invaluable resources – programs that are essential to a healthy, thriving community.
