HANDS ON–Community Skills Fair

Join Sustainable Northeast Seattle at our annual HANDS ON–Community Skills Fair at the Ravenna & Meadowbrook Community Centers!
10 am – 5 pm, hands on learning workshops
5:30 pm - 7:30 pm, community potluck
Workshops will include tool sharpening, cheese making, building solar ovens, electrical repair, bread baking, fermentation, clothing repurposing, making apple butter, gluten free baking, cistern installation, plant propagation, fruit tree pruning, home-made herbal products, beeswax candle dipping, making a shopping bag, bike repair, and more! We'll have some skill building especially for kids like learning how to sew a button, spin fleece, use a saw and hammer, peel a carrot, etc...
