Bainbridge Graduate Institute (BGI) and Hub Seattle in coordination with Net Impact BGI are excited to present an evening focused on cutting edge trends taking place in the textile and apparel industry. This event is part of HUB Seattle’s Inspiration Events Series and is geared to inspire attendees to walk away motivated to do better and involve others in their community to make positive change.
Our moderator is Stacy Flynn, a textile and apparel specialist who recently founded the Future Resource Collective. Our distinguished panelists are Nicole Bassett, Director of Social Responsibility from PrAna, Kevin Myette, Director of Product and Supply Chain Sustainability from REI, Anne Sodemann, CEO of Rethink Fabrics, and Shannon Whitehead, sustainable apparel strategist and branding consultant.
Please join us for a moderated conversation from different vantage points in the sustainable apparel industry discussing the ecological impact, social impact, emerging technology, consumer engagement strategies and the overall shifts necessary to create “The Future of Clothing” in the textile and apparel industry. The event will feature the panel discussion followed by a question and answer period and time for networking and socializing with beverages and light food.
