Sacred Concert at Seattle First Baptist

Join the 50 singers of The Seattle First Baptist Sanctuary Choir and chamber orchestra for an evening of choral masterworks in THE PASSION, a sacred concert on Good Friday on March 29th at 7:30 pm. The drama inherent in the story of Jesus’ betrayal, arrest, trial and death begs for musical setting. Unlike many passion settings by a single composer, THE PASSION incorporates some of the greatest choral motets from the Renaissance to the modern era. Music alternates with readings and the sanctuary grows increasingly dark as the crucifixion grows closer. The concert is free; no tickets are required.
