*2013 Highlighted Beneficent: Young Women Empowered*
Y-WE empowers young women leaders through intergenerational mentorship, intercultural collaboration, and creative programs that equip girls with the confidence, resilience, and future-planning skills they need to achieve their personal goals and improve their communities.

Y-WE provides mentorship and empowerment programs for teen women in the greater Seattle area, serving a diverse group of girls, ages 12-18, and women mentors, ages 19-70+. The organization is open to young women from all walks of life. Currently, over 60% of the youth are immigrants to the USA. 85% of the youth and 50% of the adults are women of color. Youth and mentors also represent a myriad of family, sexual orientation, religious, political, and educational backgrounds. Y-WE offer programs free of charge, and invites families to contribute as they are able. Each year they directly serve over 200 youth, 150 adults; and impact over 1500 community members.

*About Community Supported Arts*
CSA's goal is to empower creativity. By connecting art lovers with local emerging artists, we celebrate and nurture creativity in all its magnificent forms.

We believe everyone is an artist, and we artists need nurturing to express our truth, craft our art and follow our dreams. CSA is a vibrant Creative Community of thinkers, dreamers, artists and appreciators.

CSA has upcoming Art Shares available for sale from a juried selection of local emerging artists. An Art Share contains creative works by local artists--visual art, writing, poetry, music, performances, & more.

Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of founding shareholders and the initial cohort of talented artists, CSA celebrates its first year with appreciation for many who have contributed as cornerstones of this expanding community experience.
