Biologist

Biologist/Biological Monitor
Seeking a biologist to assist with field work at marine construction sites. You would be responsible for monitoring marine mammals and birds, documenting findings, writing daily reports. Candidate needs to be comfortable performing surveys on small boats at nearshore locations.

Required: B.S. in Biology or similar field, 1 year of experience performing marine mammal and/or avian monitoring. Project locations are within the Puget Sound Region. Projects often require 10 hour work days.

Salary: $21.00/hour
(typical schedule will be 55 to 60 hours/week; candidate will be paid 1.5 times the hourly rate for all work over 40 hours/week)
