3TIER EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Location: Seattle, Washington
3TIER has an outstanding opportunity for an Executive Assistant. The Executive Assistant is a critical team member whose focus is to provide a high level of support to the Chief Executive Officer. This individual will assist with all aspects of coordination and facilitation of daily administrative operations for the CEO and will be called upon at times to perform administrative functions as needed. This position will be part-time to full-time depending on qualifications. The successful candidate will be adept at multi¬tasking and excel in a fast-paced environment in a company experiencing very rapid growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Act as the CEO’s administrative liaison to external and internal clients.
• Arrange and coordinate travel schedules and reservations for CEO and other Executives when requested.
• Organize receipts and prepare expense reports for reimbursement.
• Create complex Word and Excel documents and PowerPoint Presentations.
• Maintain calendars; assist in planning and coordinating meetings and staff training sessions.
• Answer and prioritize telephone calls, email and mail communications.
• Coordinate office operations and reception functions.
• Assist in event planning and coordination.
• Responsible for confidential and time-sensitive material.
• Coordinate and arrange meetings and training sessions, prepare agendas, reserve and prepare facilities, and record and transcribe minutes of meetings.
• Create, organize and maintain hard copy filing systems. Maintain electronic and paper record management systems.
• Act as 3TIER’s WA State and Federal government liaison by participating in legislative briefings and actively representing the company in renewable energy policy and activist organizations.
• Various special projects such as research, compiling reports, data compilation, special writing assignments, and other administrative duties as required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to plan and prioritize effectively
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Advanced proficiency with Apple Mac and Microsoft Excel, Office, and Omnigraffle.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to learn new processes quickly.
• Willing to take initiative to solve problems with high energy and a positive attitude.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in setting priorities and meeting deadlines in a role requiring continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in an environment requiring diplomacy and good judgment in managing interactions with individuals at all levels inside and outside an organization.
• Experience in making travel arrangements, including international travel.
• Must have a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Previous experience with event and project coordination a plus.
• Previous experience in renewable energy policy and advocacy a plus.
• Web related skills, basic HTML a plus.
• Bilingual speaker preferred, but not required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent or three to five years related experience supporting senior management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
• Part-time to Full-time depending on qualifications.
• This is an hourly, non-exempt position.
