Scope & Purpose

Responsible for the overall implementation of the operational side of the human resources function & providing full service for all staffs in the Company.

List of Requirements, Functions, Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Maintain HR project plans, identify resource needs (local & expat) For expat staff needs ensure that the Human Resources Director is appraised to arrange for prior approval. Manage HR project schedule; collaborate effectively across teams to define strategy, goals and commitment to timelines and deliverables, Implementation - Coordinate the rollout of new tools and systems including delivery of standard operating procedures, workflow diagrams, training materials and post-launch support resources.

Processing of Payroll for all Refinery staff which includes but not limited processing all completed staff timesheet reports in a timely & correct manner, expenses claim advances, deductions & extra effort inclusion of the payroll.

Assist in implementation of HR policies, procedures, staffing & HRIS systems to ensure standardization and compliance with Corporate standards.

Spearhead the local recruitment for all new staff required while ensuring that the best & most capable staff are selected to perform the required tasks.

Oversee the successful implementation of the Corporate Performance Management system in the Refinery.

Oversee the successful implementation of the Corporate Learning & Development System in the Refinery.

Facilitating the onboarding of new employees to the Refinery; Furthermore, the induction of new staff to the Refinery & ensure all general administration procedures for new staff are complete

Managing & maintaining the leave records for all Company staff in-line with Corporate policies & procedures.

Overseeing disciplinary processes within the Company not limited to issuance of warnings to termination of staff as & when needed.

Conducting exit interviews with staff leaving the Company.

Manage & ensure all external travels requests from the Company are preauthorized as per corporate policies.

Handle & resolve conflicts among staff in the Company with the full coordination with the Company Management. Prepare a log sheet documenting all occurrences.

Ensure & oversee the maintenance of Hard & Soft records for all staff in the Refinery.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and deal with professionals inside and outside the Company.

Have strong interpersonal and communication skills along with being an effective team player with the ability to engage, inspire, and influence people.

Ability to generate HR Reports as required by the Human Resources Director & Refinery Manager

Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment where pro-activeness is an asset.

Work on Ad-Hoc projects as required by the Human Resources Director & Refinery Management.
