Special Projects Manager

Mithun, a national leader in sustainable design and urbanism, has a unique opportunity for a marketing and communications-oriented Special Projects Manager to manage and contribute to a variety of unique projects for senior level management. The position requires strong project management and communication skills, discretion and initiative to proactively anticipate needs of the team. The ability to interact and liaise with team members at all levels in a fast paced, design environment is critical. Thoughtful independent decision making ability; working autonomously; attention to details; ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously; and follow through on issues in a timely manner are extremely important.

Key Responsibilities:

• Intensive research on policies and regulations, including topics of energy efficiency, alternative energy and clean technology
• Provide expert writing, editing and creative support from strategy to development to execution for various communications materials, a variety of correspondences, speaking engagements, news stories and knowledge articles
• Assist with business development tactics and execution
• Conduit between senior management and Marketing/Communication team
• Work with CEO Executive Assistant on scheduling, meeting planning, travel and calendar management for leadership team

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience
• Professional Services Marketing or A/E/C environment required
• Minimum BA or BS required
• Experience supporting C-level executives required
• Expert written and verbal communication skills
• Strong research skills
• Collaborative and enthusiastic
• Flexible and adaptive
• Passion for sustainability highly desired
• Involvement with the design, real estate or sustainability community highly desired
• MS Office expert required
• Adobe InDesign CS3 required
