ERM is seeking a junior to mid-level Sustainability/Public Health Consultant to join our growing Sustainability practice team in Bellevue, WA. This is an excellent career opportunity to work with an expert consulting team to help clients manage the social/health and sustainability risks of their operations in the US and globally. Knowledge-sharing is led by ERM's national Sustainability experts to share best practices across the industry and provide ongoing learning opportunities for our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assessing socio-economic and public health impacts of development projects in the US and internationally.
- Designing and implementing stakeholder engagement programs.
- Designing and implementing practical and measurable sustainability policies, programs, and or tools.
- Conducting field research, such as implementing surveys, focus groups, and other quantitative and qualitative field-based research methods.
- Conducting research and report writing.
- Performing multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensuring quality standards on project deliverables.
- Communicating with clients, ERM employees, and vendors.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in public health preferred; social sciences (e.g., anthropology, sociology), engineering, environmental science, business administration, or related field also considered.
- 2 to 5 years of related experience in consulting, corporate, industrial, government, or non-profit environment.
- Professional international development / pubic health field research or similar experience working with immigrant or Native populations in the US.
- Ability to conduct field research and writing using basic qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Experience with sustainability and corporate social responsibility strategy.
- Effective communication and strong writing skills; bilingual Spanish-English professional-level speaking and writing skills a must.
- Ability to maintain flexibility and work independently with minimal supervision.
- May require US-based and international travel.
