Web Services Developer

We are looking for a strong web and tooling developer to create public facing web pages and internal tools for server management. The ideal candidate in this role will be comfortable creating web pages and web forms using a variety of technologies and also create server monitoring and administration tools. The person will be able to adapt and learn quickly in a fast paced and dynamic environment while meeting the needs of the organization.

Skills & Experience:
Required:

Experience creating Web applications with any of the following languages: C#, XML, jQuery, InfoPath development, MVC, ASP.NET, AJAX, CSS , WCF, HTML/HTML5, LightSwitch and T-SQL.

Experience integrating with SharePoint 2010 services and Excel 2010 services.

IIS, SMTP, and web application pool configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting

Experience with SQL Server development

Solid grasp of graphic and web design principles and good understanding of current web technologies

Experience in software design using agile design methods

Experience using TDD

Software development experience with Visual Studio

Desirable:

Creating tools using Object Models and APIs in TFS 2010, Visual Studio 2010, TFS 2010 add-ons using TFS .NET Namespaces (TFS APIs) and TFS integration tooling or similar is highly desirable.

Experience with Windows Azure

Experience deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting SQL Reporting Services

Experience with Team Foundation Server and web components highly desirable.

Experience customizing Team Foundation Server WITs highly desirable.

Experience with TFS Power Tools and server command line utilities

Experience with TFS Build services

Experience created coded UI, database, and unit tests

Experience with Microsoft Test Manager

Experience with system integration and automation development

Experience with secure software design principles such as preventing XSS or SQL injection

Able to work independently and in a team environment

Experience working in a matrix organization
