Care about beaches? Good with people? Sign up to be a volunteer beach naturalist at a Seattle-area beach this summer. Beach Naturalists will receive training, and then spend three or more summer days educating visitors about beach ecology and beach etiquette. Sites include Des Moines, Seahurst Park, Lincoln Park, South Alki Beach, Olympic Sculpture Park, Golden Gardens, Carkeek Park and Richmond Beach. People who live near these beaches are especially encouraged to participate, but anyone with the time, interest and commitment is welcome.
