Web Application Developer (Front-end)3TIER has an outstanding opportunity for a Web Application Developer (FE) in our Seattle office. 3TIER is continuing to develop new software offerings, and we need your help to get us there. This is a great opportunity for passionate web developers looking to be a part of a dedicated team of software engineers and top scientists while constructing innovative and profitable web applications in the renewable energy space. The ideal candidate will be able to work on multiple projects with limited supervision, learn new systems quickly, and have an interest in renewable energy science.If you have a passion for web development and an interest in making a difference while working in a fun and exciting environment, apply today!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and maintain 3TIER's web-based delivery forecast and assessment products.
  • Troubleshoot web-based delivery applications to ensure 3TIER products meet client needs
  • Develop, implement and maintain front-end solutions, using client side scripting language.Required Skills and Background:
  • Degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of front end development experience
  • Experience with web development in a UNIX/Linux environment.
  • Experience with JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, JSON, DHTML, SVG, Adobe Flash, Action Script and hard-coded HTML.
  • An eye for detail and familiarity with design.
  • Familiarity with Photoshop and working with web graphic elements.
  • Advocate of the user experience.
