The Central District branch of July Greendrinks will be held at Hidmo Eritrean Cuisine, at 2000 S Jackson St (on the corner of 20th & Jackson). The event will feature interesting conversation, as well as $2 drink and appetizer specials and a taste of cuisine of Eritrea. As with all Seattle Greendrinks gatherings, the event will begin between 5:30 and 6pm on Tuesday, 8 July, and will end at 8pm.

After Greendrinks, trundle on over to the Central Cinema for a benefit screening of "Breaking Away," the 1979 classic film about boys, bikes and summer. This marks the first of two benefit screenings for RGBG, a group of cyclists who will be riding to San Francisco later this month to promote sustainable building initiatives and sustainable transportation. All money raised at the event will be put towards LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification of a local Habitat for Humanity house.
