Campus Ecology Program Assistant

We seek a Program Assistant for our Campus Ecology program in Reston, Virginia. The purpose of the Campus Ecology Program Assistant position is to help dramatically broaden engagement in NWF’s climate action initiatives. This position will be responsible for supporting fellowships, supporting special media projects, coordinating the internship program, and tracking and engaging alumni. The Program Assistant will also provide administrative, logistical and outreach support for Campus Ecology program and staff on a regular basis.
Must have BA in environmental studies or related field and a minimum of one year professional experience in which an internship in one or more organizations is a reasonable alternative. Strong project coordination and administrative support experience required. Experience working with college-age youth and in environmental and/or sustainability field helpful. Ability to organize and coordinate trainings and people, schedule projects, conference calling, data and other logistics and good knowledge of Microsoft Office software a must.
