Diversity Partnership Manager
The National Wildlife Federation (NWF) seeks an effective, dynamic individual to help lead an effort to develop a diversity outreach and mobilization campaign in support of NWF’s global warming solutions and natural resource protection initiatives. The successful candidate will have strong communication, leadership, and project management skills. As well as a proven ability to work with coalitions and communities of diverse backgrounds
Responsibilities Include:
• Developing and implementing a strategy to reach out to diverse communities
• Establishing relationships and reaching out to major national minority groups and caucuses
• Engaging leaders of minority communities in policy and advocacy efforts to advance climate and other conservation initiatives
• Managing NWF’s diversity outreach consultants and coordinating activities of senior professionals
• Assisting in fund raising and development
• Budget management
Relevant Qualification and Experience:
• Minimum of seven years experience doing outreach, policy making, and managing relationships
• Experience in political and advocacy campaigns helpful
• Must have an undergraduate degree. Master’s Degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Proven capacity to design and implement a national campaign
• Ability to coordinate various levels of staff activities to meet program goals
• Strong written and oral communication skills required
