Don't miss this ~ "GREEN FLASH 2008". Basically, about 40 friends and strangers will sail together in a "Duck Dodge" race. We will leave the Seattle Waterfront aboard a 70 foot sailboat at 4:00 pm and go around Magnolia, through the Locks, and into Lake Union. We will stop briefly at Ivar's to pick up more of our group (who had to work late) and then RACE! If you have never experienced one, Duck Dodge on Lake Union is one of the premier "beer can" regattas in the world. Raced in the heart of Seattle, this weekly race (summer only) attracts the full spectrum of new and old sailors (see www.duckdodge.org). No sailing experience? No worries. Your $100 gets you a professional crew, dinner, drinks, and a donation to World Vision.
