Web Collective seeks a full-time person to fill project manager role while also participating in changing the world.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage website development projects from sales hand-off to rollout and support.
  • Manage multiple projects at various stages of completion.
  • Identify appropriate level of project oversight and resource requirements, facilitate team member activities and communicate project progress internally within Web Collective, and with its clients.
  • Critically evaluate and communicate business issues/risks to team members and clients.
  • Work with clients to discover requirements and perform business analysis.
  • Help clients incorporate new web site into their organization.
  • Lead standing and ad hoc workgroups to continually improve and enforce project management methodology.
  • Write, revise, and verify quality standards and test procedures for website development projects.
  • Review new or modified project deliverables for each phase of development for presentation to clients.

    Requirements

  • A Bachelor's in computer science, business administration, information science or other technical area, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years software (web preferred) development experience in project-based environment.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Experience with project definition, planning, scheduling and implementation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex business processes, product design and technical issues to lay persons effectively.
  • Enthusiastic and creative.
  • Professionalism with dedication to quality.
  • Passion for living sustainably a plus.
