Senior Market Analyst or below DOE-Energy Efficiency Services #3363

PSE’s Energy Efficiency Services (EES) Strategic Planning and Research group is looking for a Senior Market Analyst or below DOE to join their team. This person will perform evaluation, research, analysis, planning and outreach for the Energy Efficiency Services (EES) Division, including application of research tools and results, coordination of internal work teams and the management of contractors and consultants. We need someone who can identify project needs, develop of scopes of work, and select contractors/consultants as appropriate. The Senior Market Analyst will make effective use of secondary information and existing internal resources and will be able to synthesize data from multiple sources into actionable information. This person will serve as the primary research liaison to the EES communications and program management teams. This role will lead and coordinate planning for research and analysis projects. The ideal candidate will be able to present project results, data, or other work products to internal and external audiences. We need someone who can lead and participate in multidisciplinary project teams as well as oversee contractor and consultant work. This position will also be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of market information and databases

Qualifications:

Required:
•At least 5 years of experience in market/program/product analysis, research, or evaluation
•Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, planning, public policy, or other relevant field. Relevant utility experience beyond the minimum requirement may be considered in lieu of a degree
•Can work independently to complete complex projects with limited direct supervision
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Strong project management skills
•Proven written and oral communication skills
•Ability to work in a team environment
•Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
•Ability to synthesize data and other information into clear, actionable deliverables
•Ability to work well with others, take initiative, work independently, and meet deadlines
•Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, other presentation and analytical tools

Desired:
•Advanced degree requiring strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
•Experience with electric or gas demand-side management program planning, market research, evaluation, regulation, or policy analysis.
